The fourth business rates revaluation in twenty years came into effect from 1 April 2005.

Hindwoods Hunter Payne have an experienced team of Chartered Surveyors with both specialist local knowledge and expertise to provide business rates advice on commercial properties within south London and north Kent.

On top of other overheads most businesses require professionals to advise whether they are paying too much in the way of business rates.  We will advise clients on the level of assessment and will not appeal automatically as the rateable value can go up as well as down.  If appropriate we will submit an appeal providing a full service until the appeal is heard and a refund obtained.

Appeals against a rating entry should always be undertaken by a Chartered Surveyor with experience in business rates.
